Unboxing (what to expect & how I pack)

I often get questions of how will I pack. I have over 150+ reviews with 5 stars on multiple platforms, over 100+ were shipped orders. I pack carefully and have been on the receiving end of plants being half dead or a mess upon receiving.

I pack with a combination of 2-3

  • brown butcher packing paper
  • bubble wrap or foam
  • polyfil

Plants are wrapped with butcher paper and lined with some padding (bubble wrap or foam) and polyfill. Plants encapsulated with butcher paper reduces movement and the box is stuffed with more padding so that nothing folds or moves in the box.

The medium I ship in

  • perlite: mostly cuttings
  • moss: plants or cuttings
  • pest-free aroid mix: plants (if the plant is simply thriving or by request, I will leave the plant in pot)

I cover the top of the pot so that no medium spills out but if by chance any medium has shifted, the packing paper should catch the loose medium.

When you receive your plant, give it a drink of water. Just a splash

I would recommend waiting 1-2 weeks before repotting.
Repotting can add more stress to your plants.
